About the project
The design concept for a semi-automatic science station intended for watching Arctic wildlife. Today, makeshift barracks are used for this purpose are hardly fit for extreme arctic conditions. The station can house up to 4 scientists in summer and will automatically collect the data in winter. It is equipped with a diesel generator and solar panels to back it up. Its wooden frame is steel-covered and ensures an aerodynamic shape to reduce wind loads.
