About the project
The Last Victim by Alexander Ostrovsky is a timeless story – costumes and epochs change, but the society is consistent in its preferences. Whoever offers more, wins. Everything can be sold – even love.
In the performance, every stage set plays its part, creating the mood, changing it, making the viewers read the metaphors. This is a journey from the past to the present, and it turns out that in fact our today isn’t too different from our yesterday.
