About the project
The project of the Pangea recreation center is designed on the site, neighboring on the memorial house of Pavel Kuznetsov. I was inspired by his picture “Parisian Comedians,” but a picture alone wasn’t enough – for further contrast with this picture, I chose another artistic genre – graffiti, as there are any walls covered with graffiti at the design site.
What was the point of this contrast? It had to become a way, a road, a reconciliation, a union, Pangea – a super-continent uniting all the land of the Earth. In this project, Pangea is a way to bring different cultures together.
