The boarding house for senior citizens is located in Zelenogorsk. With its clean sea air, the scent of spruce forests, and sandy beaches, the city provides an ideal environment for human health.
Given the conditions of the site and the low visibility of the overall building volume, the focus is on its internal content. The facades facing the forest have no decorative elements and are purely functional. Since the facades can only be perceived from a close distance, special attention is given to materials, texture, and surface finish. The three-story structure measures 74.45 by 74.45 meters. Its entire design follows the principle of a medieval castle, with perimeter walls acting as protection from the outside world, while all life is concentrated inside the structure, resembling a self-contained city with inner courtyards and galleries.
