About the project
The building stands on a stiff slope, where a wooden dacha dating back to the turn of the 20thcentury used to be. The terrain with altitude difference of 5 meters predetermined the inner space layout. The floors of the building are vertically displaced against each other. The composition comprises two differently sized structural volumes, united with a winter garden. The bay window of the sitting room faces the lake. The kitchen, the diner and the bedrooms of the first floor look south, where there is an old apple grove, laid out in the middle of the 20thcentury. The details were thoroughly designed in accordance with architecture of Pargolovo, typical for the age of national romanticism.
