About the project (provided by the applicant) A single-story brick house of 320 sq. m is located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in the village of Peski 29, on a 1,500 sq. m plot.
The main idea of the project was to build an austere, rational, and well-thought-out home for personal use, employing solutions and technologies that would ensure easy maintenance of the house and the site over a long period of time.
A distinctive feature of the plot was its challenging soil conditions: geological surveys revealed sandy loam and boulders up to 2.5 meters in diameter. The upper soil layer was replaced to a depth of up to 2 meters.
