About the project
This three-act performance was staged by the Umay opera lab in the Theater of Tinchurin. This is the first Feminist lab in the history of the Tatar theater. They presented three short intimate operas in the Tatar language dedicated to the Tatar women and their input into the local enlightenment and historic transformations. All the poets, dramatists, and composers for the performance are women. One and the same structure is used in all the three acts. In 2022, the performance made it into the longlist of the Russian Golden Masque Theater Awards.
