About the project (provided by the applicant)
Our project aimed to meet the client's requirements within two floors instead of four. Initially, the client had requested to demolish an old one-story house and replace it with a four-story apartment. However, we believe that this trend of replacing one and two-story houses in the city with four or more-story apartments is rapidly changing the character of the small town of Qarah Ziaoddin, which has a population of about 20,000. Our biggest challenge was convincing the client to construct a two-story building rather than four, to ensure optimal space utilization. We convinced the client to keep the ground floor structure and build another floor with sloping ceilings and light materials. We also focused on creating middle space and spatial development in this project.
