About the project
The Expo-Centre comprises a number of outdoor spaces and pavilions designed for retailing and exhibition events. Is includes the main building, open-air retail spaces, retail pavilions, reconstructed and restored buildings, and landscaped public spaces.
The area, which is located near the Central Market, has been long used as a market place. Its highlight is the red brick buildings of the early 20th century on the Cathedral Street. Reconstruction of these buildings will preserve the history of the street, as well as create a complex with an expo-centre building in a modern loft style.
