About the project
The project aims to create a public and museum space adapted for exhibition and educational uses on the island of New Holland.
It uses the basement spaces of the existing historical buildings and provides for the organization of a pedestrian zone at the level of the basements along the inner perimeter. The eastern and southeastern buildings will function as a gallery and an educational center for museum staff. The southern building will house a theater with a transformable stage and hall spaces, and various theater studios.
The western building will be repurposed as a hotel with a transparent ceiling of the courtyard.
