The redevelopment project for the Gatchina Dairy Plant building complex ("Molokozavod") aims to thoughtfully transform industrial heritage into a vibrant, modern multifunctional public space. The concept preserves the authentic brick architecture of the historic plant while complementing it with contemporary volumes of glass and metal.
The focal point of the composition is a spacious atrium that links the complex’s various zones and serves as its cultural core. Art installations referencing the site's history—including a milk bottle and a vintage airplane—are seamlessly woven into the project, emphasizing generational continuity and the unique identity of the area.
Thoughtful spatial layouts establish a comfortable, inclusive, and dynamic environment for work, leisure, and creativity, transforming a former industrial zone into a new architectural landmark and key destination in Gatchina.
