The regeneration of the Grigoriev-Suponev estate in Uglich involves the integration of hospitality, museum, exhibition-lecture, and commercial spaces, along with workshops. It also features the landscaping of the surrounding protected parkland, weaving together extant and lost elements of the historical landscape into a cohesive architectural and park complex that reveals the site's heritage while securing its contemporary recreational use.
The conceptual framework of the thesis project is defined as "haunting glimpses of a restored past" that contrast with the tangible remnants of the present. Elements and structures reconstructed within historical silhouettes play a background role, ceding precedence to the authentic fragments of history, culture, and landscape.
