About the project
A readjustment proposal for the currently abandoned building in the city hospital site.
The new eye clinic will comprise three departments – diagnostics, in-patient, and treatment. The load-bearing structures and existing floor levels are to be preserved. The cross-beam system on the facade will protect the hospital wards from sun. The building will become a perfect architectural dominant in the midst of the prefabricated 5-storey houses. The key objective of the project is to highlight the dire state many Russian hospitals are in.
