We conceived the library as a space where one can escape the information noise and return to one's own thoughts. Smartphones are not allowed here — not as a restriction, but in the service of informational silence. A book does not offer a ready-made image or opinion; it engages the imagination and helps shape one's own perspective on the world.
The architectural image reinterprets the Russian garmon — its rhythm is transformed into a system of vertical volumes, while perforated panels featuring characters from Russian fairy tales become a contemporary interpretation of cultural heritage.
Inside, the library unfolds as a vertical journey through a book. A spiral ramp connects the levels, offering secluded reading spots and views over the city. This is not merely a library, but a space for independent thought, imagination, and informational silence.
