Restoration of Factory-Kitchen building at Maslennikov Plant

About the project (provided by the applicant)
The most valuable legacy from the 1930s was the unique reinforced concrete frame, which was restored using injections and reinforcing textile.
The most impressive elements were the three main staircases, framed by semicircular bay windows with stained glass. Although the original stained glass was lost, it was carefully recreated based on historical photographs.
The stair landings were originally covered with Mettlach tiles, and during the restoration, a portion of these historical tiles was cleaned and returned to their original places.
The old window frames were measured to create replicas, finished in the original dark gray paint.
Notable elements from the 1940s include an arched portal with stucco work, crafted in the Stalinist Empire style.
Restoration efforts began at the end of 2019, and today, the building houses the Tretyakov Gallery's collection in Samara.
