About the project
The theatre comprises several old buildings built in the 19-20 centuries. It is a monument of regional significance. During the restoration, the cultural heritage site was preserved and equipped in a modern way. The plaster layer and cladding made of natural stone was restored on the historical facades.
In the interiors, the steps and fences made of marble were recreated, the historical shape of part of the window openings was returned, the courses, stucco cornices, and the plaster rustication were restored. A painstaking restoration of the auditorium was performed, and a unique grand chandelier with a diameter of 3 m was restored.
