Project
Temporary façade for Rietveld Pavilion exhibition venue
Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student
About the project
Simpleness is a project based on the work of Gerrit Rietveld, a Dutch architect and furniture designer. The main objects in the project are his Red Blue Chair and the renowned temporary pavilion used for display of small sculptures at the Third International Sculpture Exhibition in Arnhem's Sonsbeek Park. The author reinterpreted these works of art and utilized them to a unique temporary façade for Gerrit Rietveld exhibition. This architectural composition comprises glass terraces for walking along the perimeter of the building with a view over the parking zone.
