About the project

The River of Architectural Life is a special project showcased at ARCH MOSCOW 2023. The total installation ‘flowed’ in all 3 dimensions of the Gostiny Dvor complex.

The improvised river originated at the very entrance, then went down the plastic pipes – just like urban rivers do, when put into collectors. At the end of the hall, the river reappeared and once again went down the pipes built as a rowlock perspective arch.

The overall installation length reached 200 m, and the materials used were fiberglass hardware elements, PVC pipes, and adhesive film. The biotyping method was invented by the author.
