At the current stage, the need to transform the cinema into a cultural and leisure center becomes increasingly relevant. Such spaces create conditions for holding a wide range of events — from art exhibitions and lectures to concert programs and discussion clubs.

Since the "Rodina" cinema was re-equipped, its historical materiality was partially lost, including individual elements of architectural decor and structural solutions. In this regard, the renovation project provides for: preserving elements of the historical building and partially restoring lost elements or offering their interpretation.

The goal of the project is to create a modern interior in which historical heritage acts as the key compositional accent of the space. Simultaneously, it is assumed that the functional purpose of the "Rodina" cinema will be expanded through its transformation into a multifunctional cultural and public center.
