About the project
Sergey Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet staged by Yuri Klevtsov, a bright interpretation of Shakespear’s tragedy. The stage supports a sophisticated double-deck installation with rigid decorations.
It transforms the space thanks to portable partitions and a video projection. A combination of different technologies help to establish a style that excites and thrills the viewers. The author believes they no longer have to present all the ethnographic museum collection at the stage, but bring some symbols and tokens of the Renaissance epoch.
