About the project (provided by the applicant)

The Rope Guild with a water pumping tower of the Red Nailer Factory at Vasilievsky Island (St. Petersburg) was built in 1931 to the project by Yakov Chernikhov. This cultural heritage site is known across the globe as an example of Constructivism, a daring art trend started in the USSR. When Setl Group set to work, the building was in disrepair. It took the developer three years to restore this unique memorial for the price of 3 bln Rubles. The window and door design was left untouched, but an interior atrium was arranged. The tower was restored with due care and equipped with an elevator.
