RUC'S Heaven bar & bistro (Russia)

Project
RUC'S Heaven bar & bistro

Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Public Space

About the project (provided by the applicant)

From the very first step, you're swept into a whirlwind of colors, sounds, and emotions — as if you've landed on Barcelona’s vibrant La Rambla, where every stone remembers the rustle of revolutionary flags and the strum of guitars.

Here, every detail is more than just decor — it’s part of the Catalan soul: faded walls alongside provocative graffiti, and even a worn-out door handle that once adorned the home of a poet fleeing the Franco regime.

This is not just an interior — it’s a journey. Each guest becomes part of something greater: a story still being written, a culture that refuses to be confined, and a spirit that cannot be broken.

Even the air is different here — thick like crema catalana and ringing like the beat of a drum before the start of a correfoc. You’re not just a spectator — you’re a participant.

Això no és un bar. És una revolució en pausa.

Applicant
Ma.Ya (Maiya Gubaydullina)

“The Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts is where the architect in me was born. It taught me not just to design buildings, but to feel spaces — to understand their soul. Then came interior design: more intimate, but no less fascinating. My architectural background is now my greatest strength. My approach is a fusion of academic tradition and a contemporary outlook. I don’t blindly follow trends — I search for the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.”
