About the project
The production workshop of the currently listed facility was designed in 1913—1916 by architect Shekhtel and sculptor Konenkov. In Soviet times it was used for manufacturing purposes, but later it was abandoned. First of all, the authors had to create at the site a unique education and culture hub of Rosatom and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, This place was to become a training center that would nurture a new generation of engineers, scholars, and business people.

Most of the works were performed inside to readjust the interiors for the new administrative function. Moreover, training, public catering, and exhibition premises were arranged.
