About the project
The goal of the project is to redesign the premises, rebuild the Shchigrinsky public garden and erect a multidisciplinary museum with a restoration complex for the Russian Museum. The highlights of the new building are multi-colored parallelepiped towers of uneven height.
The complex is mainly designed for storage and restoration of the museum’s exhibits, but can be also used as an exhibiting and training venue, as well as a place for recreation and entertainment of the museum’s visitors. In general terms, the project is designed to rearrange the surrounding grounds in accordance with the new facility’s needs.
