Salamat Apartment is a four-unit residential building located on a 273 sq.m irregular urban plot with severe daylight restrictions and complex regulatory constraints. The design transforms these limitations into opportunities through strategic spatial organization, optimized openings, and carefully positioned terraces that bring natural light deep into the interior spaces. A double-height void enhances daylight distribution within the duplex unit, while perforated brick screens improve ventilation, privacy, and spatial depth.

Brick serves as the project's defining architectural element, shaping both identity and performance. Custom-designed brick modules create a contemporary interpretation of local architectural traditions, filtering light and shadow while unifying the fragmented geometry of the site. The project embodies the concept of “order within disorder”, demonstrating how brick can simultaneously resolve functional challenges and enrich urban character.
