Sarab Villa

Sarab Villa is a residential project located in Sirik, southern Iran. The villa has an approximate area of 180 square meters and sits on a 1,800-square-meter site.

The main idea is to create the experience of a garden villa in the desert, where lush nature contrasts with the dryness and vastness of the desert landscape. The landscape design incorporates native trees such as palm, Garom Zangi, and Mash'al Jangal, creating a green oasis that responds to the local climate.

The project includes a swimming pool, private gym, and spaces for family gatherings. The architectural design also responds to the climate: shading the façades reduces direct solar exposure and helps minimize cooling requirements and energy consumption.

The name “Sarāb” (Mirage) comes from this idea. Creating a lush garden in the middle of the desert may seem like a distant and impossible mirage. But unlike a true mirage, this vision is real; people can reach it and turn the mirage into reality.
