The proposal was designed to bring together children coming from different parts of Russia, each of them with habits, ambitions, and cultural traditions of their own. The authors believe that architecture can help with rallying and consolidation. The more time kids spend together, the more solid relations they have.
All the cool places like the central plaza, several cafes, and sports grounds are shared by all classes, but different age groups have a special ‘house’ within the school building.
The prototyping center, the robotics class, and the IT department, special Chemistry, Physics, and Biology classes with a greenhouse, art studios, a media lab, and top-grade sports facilities – all of these were designed to inspire collaborations, innovations, and synergy.
