Shahin Shahr Municipality Building

About the project
Returning the most important building of the city to the society as an urban space and the gateway to the city garden.
The existing building of Shahin Shahr municipality was right in the middle of the office buildings of this city and the green path in this complex. With 50 meters of opening without columns and ignoring a significant amount of Gross Floor Area,a part of the land was dedicated to the urban public space and as a gate, visitors were directed to the green path of the area.
What cut off the communication of this amazing structure with its audience was the solid facade without identity. Considering the identity of the building and the need to communicate with the people,by creating a transparent facade, we tried to remove the border between the building and the city as much as possible. Also, by creating a organizational blue staircase path that was the extension of the water path in the middle of the square, the connection between people and government was emphasized.
