Sospeso is the heart of Studio e Bottega: a suspended display system conceived to overlap exhibition and workspace within a single environment. Running above the workstations, it introduces a new spatial layer where objects, materials, design, fashion and art can be displayed without interrupting everyday activities. Rather than separating production from presentation, Sospeso allows both to happen simultaneously, dissolving the boundary between studio and workshop. The system transforms the space into a dynamic, museum-like landscape in constant evolution, where working, researching and exhibiting coexist. More than a display structure, Sospeso becomes an architectural device that redefines how space is perceived and inhabited, expressing the identity of Studio e Bottega through lightness, flexibility and continuous interaction.

Studio e Bottega brings together architect Enzo Maria Serafini and designer Maddalena Bizzi, combining different generations and perspectives through a shared vision of architecture and design. Located in Milan, its 300 sqm space is both a workplace and an exhibition environment. A suspended display system allows design, art and fashion to coexist above the working areas, expressing the studio’s vision: a place where space, objects and disciplines naturally converge.
