The team completed design work on the project titled "Concept for the Adaptive Reuse of an Object of Cultural Heritage of Federal Significance." The object of study was "Southern Battery No. 1," located at 1st South Fort, lit. A, B, Kronstadt, Saint Petersburg.
The design proposals are grounded in comprehensive scientific research of the site. The project was carried out in full compliance with current legislation regarding the protection and preservation of cultural heritage objects.
The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the importance of preserving this unique fortification heritage, which holds UNESCO World Heritage status and corresponding historical and cultural value. Reintegrating the site into modern life through adaptive reuse for tourism and museum functions creates a new focal point of attraction in Kronstadt, enhancing the region's overall tourist appeal.
