About the project (provided by the applicant)
This 120 sq.m attic space is designed for rental. The interior combines Scandinavian and French flair, harmonized within the context of majestic and refined St. Petersburg.
The apartment, with a ceiling height of 5.3 m near the ridge and surrounded by historic buildings, is aptly described by designer Evgeny Neimand: “St. Petersburg interiors are much more restrained. Displaying luxury is uncommon. Everything is closer to quiet, elegance, and simplicity — like the city itself. People economize, but they do it beautifully.”
The project conveys a sense of spaciousness. The open layout enhances the airy feel, while glass partitions between the bedroom and living room unify the space and allow natural light to flow through.
The interior is accented with French elegance: natural herringbone floors, vintage items, and classical elements such as divided glazing, frames, and shutters. Scandinavian design influences, characteristic of the Northern capital, are also present.
