Splav (Eng. alloy) is designed at the confluence of renovation and contemporary architecture. There used to a steelmaking workshop here, That’s why the authors performed a comprehensive research to find genius loci and repeat it in the rearranged building.
They designed new facades and invented a name that matches the existing outdoor and indoor premises. Food, water, and metal — all of these have been alloyed together to produce this architectural proposal. There will be cooking studios, restaurant, corners, seating galleries, and terraces. Moreover, the designers made a logo, an operation scenario, and recommendations about tenants.
