Best Implemented Apartment / Private House Interior Design Project
About the project (provided by the applicant)
This two-level apartment in Sochi has become part of our studio’s collection of unique projects.
The client’s request was to create an interior in a familiar loft style while incorporating original spatial solutions.
The apartment is quite compact — just 67 sq. m — but our designers took into account the needs of all residents, including a small Yorkshire terrier. The interior story began with relocating the opening in the floor slab for the staircase, which made it possible to create the open loft space the clients had dreamed of. The metal staircase has an unconventional design, developed from the studio’s sketches. A special spot for the dog was integrated into the side of one of the steps. A wardrobe and storage system are hidden in the space beneath the stairs. Thanks to the smooth connection between the staircase and the kitchen-living area, the first step of the staircase also serves as the base of the sofa.
This project proves that even in a limited space, it’s possible to create something unique and beyond the ordinary. The apartment was completed in 2024 and is now home to the clients.
