The customer thought that schools in their country were all alike, which was not great. He wanted the authors to design a school inspired by the Tatar language and culture, that would reflect the values and traditions of a certain location.
In collaboration with Tatar artist Tatyana Chernoguzova, ornaments were created deep-rooted in the history of the region. These ornaments were used to weave a fabric that was used to upholster all the sofas and arm-chairs at school. The same patterns were used to make clay tiles for the walls and laser-engraved wood panels for the corridors, as well as metal panels of the swimming pool. One of the finishing materials was limestone quarried in Chupayevo (Almetyevsk Region, Tatarstan).
