About the Project
The master plan encompasses a fairly large territory, which is functionally divided into transport and public zones. The transport zone includes the existing railway station and the designed bus station and parking lot. A hotel is located in the public zone. All the buildings are interconnected by above-ground walkways. The project also envisages the transport infrastructure. The routes of buses and passengers do not intersect. Flows of arriving and departing passengers are separated. Connection of the transport centre facilities to the railway station by means of an elevated passageway produces a distinctive contrast between the old and the new.
