About the project
The ballet staged by choreographer Vyacheslav Samodurov is a vivid fusion ofmusic, performance, and choreography. Like any ‘mania,’ the ballet is incredibly exciting with its non-stop dance flow, full of incredibly complex movements and combinations, sometimes soft and fragile, sometimes sharp and almost rigid.
Scenic designer Alexey Kondratyev produced a well-suited scene, both resembling a dance floor and a magician’s chest. Depending on the music and the dance, the static scenery seems to come to life, pulsating and moving.
