About the project
The site is in the heart of Tehran, a city full of people with different characteristics and culture that are constantly moving. City, vehicles, people, and time never invariant in this city. They are all moving so fast all the time. So I decided to design a cultural center that can move like the city. The building itself can move with the people and for the use of people. This project is consist of : galleries, music rooms, library, music hall, open cinema, book café, classes, ateliers, and workshops. The construction of the building is made of concrete and glass. The third floor, which is mobile, is connected to the walls of the inner cylinder with metal frames and rotates around it.
