The Mashhad Textile Factory Revitalization Project explores the transformation of an abandoned industrial complex and its adjacent residential site into a connected and active urban environment. The project was developed in two stages. The collective phase focused on the urban-scale regeneration of the site, including neighborhood units, block configurations, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, and the adaptive reuse of existing industrial sheds with new programs.
The individual phase focused on transforming two sheds into a creative co-working hub. The design establishes a dual spatial system: an active shed for workshops, small-scale production, exhibitions, and collaborative activities, and a quieter shed divided into focused workspaces, study areas, research spaces, and private work capsules. Together, they create a productive ecosystem that combines learning, making, working, and interaction, while contributing to the social and economic revitalization of the industrial heritage

I’m Hossein Mohammad Hosseini, a Master’s student of Architecture at Shahid Beheshti University. I see architecture as a medium for creating meaningful connections between people, space, and experience. Alongside architecture, photography is one of my main interests, deepening my understanding of light, space, and the details of the built environment.
