About the project (provided by the applicant) The Delta Pavilion is a tropical knowledge sanctuary situated on the edge of a river. Its stacked, horizontal volumes utilize local timber screens to mediate the intense solar gain, creating serene, light-filled reading spaces. The central water channel pays homage to traditional delta architecture, establishing a new, ecologically sensitive model for the contemporary public library.
