About the project
The premier performance by Dmitry Astrakhan. Many of the issues brought by Ostrovsky haven’t lost their relevance. This is a story about undifferentiated lovesickness that makes the woman lose her sense, become vulnerable and helpless. A story about materialism and manhood lost. The stage director wanted the story to be funny, dramatic - and recognizable at once.
