The site is located on a complex slope descending toward Pushkinskaya Embankment of the Moskva River, adjacent to the Andreyevsky Bridge. The complex shapes the environment and restores functions inherent to the site's theatrical history, as the Green Theater and Golitsyn Ponds were once major open-air venues.
The project is a modular structure composed of standardized elements featuring theatrical functional blocks and an elevated multi-tiered grandstand that extends the building toward the existing Green Theater. This creates a system of public squares for interaction among the theatrical community, audiences, and park visitors.
The main volume is structured around the bridge, uniting pedestrian flows from the embankment, the park, and the opposite bank. The theater operates as an open, accessible space connecting the city and the park across multiple levels. A flexible structural design allows for expansion, contraction, or dismantling depending on operational needs and economic feasibility, making it possible to adapt environmental interactions while preserving the historic and natural context.
