About the project (provided by the applicant)
Tsvetnoy Theater opened in December 2024 in a building familiar to Muscovites for over 120 years: since 1881, it housed panoramas, a circus, an equestrian arena, and the Mir cinema. AQ Architectural Bureau adapted the historic building into a unique space with a 550-seat auditorium and a multifunctional area for 100 people. A distinctive feature is seating with bar tables and a VIP balcony with a bar.
The color palette is in gray-purple tones with bright accents, avoiding excessive gaudiness. Velvet purple drapes create a theatrical atmosphere, while the interior conveys a mood of joy and positivity, making the theater a hub for contemporary art and entertainment.
