Project
Townhouses in Sestroretsk
Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student
About the project
The project provides for two types of townhouses (front and regular ones) in 3 independent blocks. Each block has an access road and private parking lots. On the East, panoramic windows open to the Gulf of Finland. Interior walkways and a public space are complemented by a garden square with a fountain. The palette of dark wood of the front block, brick of the main buildings, and light plastered moldings of façade windows is typical for Sestroretsk.
Townhouses were designed quite simple and sustainable to fit into the existing context.
