About the project (provided by the applicant)
In the context of the new town-planning paradigm, transport hubs are seen as a powerful development resource for a city, as it offers long-term and comfortable stay for travelers.
A transport hub is the city’s face, its business card, one of its main landmarks, and a key public venue. In Bashkortostan and other regions of Russia gates have always been a symbol of hospitality and couleur locale. That’s why the author used national ornaments for the facades and hardscape elements. Four buildings — each with its function — will be united with the overall design and fit into the surrounding landscape.
