Category:
Best Design of Building or Facility by Student
About the project (provided by the applicant):
In 2023, Yekaterinburg celebrated its 300th anniversary, marked by the launch of projects that were aimed at enhancing the citizens' quality of life and fostering cultural and creative activities.
The current Yekaterinburg branch of Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, one of Russia's largest art museums, lacks the capacity for large-scale art exhibitions. The proposed new building will serve as a museum and educational center for contemporary art with a wider range of functions. It will feature spacious exhibition areas, art studios, cafes, a library, lecture halls, transforming it into a cultural hub for the district. This addition will enrich Yekaterinburg's cultural infrastructure and offer new opportunities for the Ural branch of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
