About the project
The room of the existing family coffee shop was renovated to become an austere Belgian interior with an Armenian half-tone. Everything but the spotlighting and lavatory bowls was made to order specially for the project. Special focus was on using the natural materials.
The coffee shop is located in Sochi and is owned by an Armenian family. Vatte was the landlady’s nickname when she was a kid.
