Vazan Villa consists of two separate residential sections and a service section on the ground floor. The idea of two different worlds creates a two-part form that can be felt in the outer and inner volume of the project. The meeting of the plot with these two worlds is quite evident.
The organization of interior spaces in the project has been carried out based on their functions and detailed layout. There are fundamental differences between the nature of the lower spaces and the upper ones. Therefore, in the layout of the volumes of the lower floor levels, dry, heavy, and solid concrete volumes were utilized. Meanwhile, in the residential floors, volumes with their thin and white skin create apertures and setbacks. These inherent setbacks are based on the spatial structure. The element that unifies these volumes is a path highlighted in red in the above diagram. This path acts as an intermediary space, connecting the lower dry volumes with the energetic upper volumes.
