About the project
A 135 000 liter milk bowl has been made in Latvia! In 2021, construction work was completed on the long-awaited Mārupe Velosolutions asphalt pump track project. The track integrates various innovative elements, such as a jump line and an asphalt «bowl», which has visually turned into a work of art by the local artist KIWIE.
Construction works for the newly created active recreation area next to the Mārupe BMX track were started at the end of last year. The aim of the new infrastructure is to create an environment where both young children and experienced riders would feel safe and able to spend their free time actively, thus promoting a healthy lifestyle and at the same time acquiring new skills and abilities. The last works of the track were completed in May this year, and now it has been officially opened, becoming a public object for everyone.
