About the project
The NW region of Russia really lacks modern bicycling centers. The project suggests construction of a roofed bicycle track for 6,000 seats at the premises of the Yuntolovo Reserve. Dynamic facades of ETFE modules rest on cell reinforced concrete frame. Matte semi-opaque ceiling lets in enough natural light, and at night makes the façade shine on the outside. Below the stands, there is a museum of bicycle history along the building perimeter. The central part of the bicycle track is intended for contests and training sessions in tennis and other games. There is a bicycle exit connected to the highway, which facilitates highway races.
