The design site is located 40 km away from Yekaterinburg new the Bolshebrusnyatskoye Cemetery. The proposal includes two buildings — the viewing house, and the restaurant with a kitchen and some administrative premises. As the premises of such a place has to match its purpose, there will be a small park with artificial ponds. The outer carcass isn’t sealed and resembles candlelight, which is a metaphor of eternal life. Its warm terracotta color and the stone material that is nice to the touch create the atmosphere of peace and respect. Inside, streams of people are divided to prevent different funeral corteges meeting each other.
